Kuala Sepetang is a coastal town located in Perak, Malaysia. The town was formerly known as Port Weld after a former Governor, Frederick Weld. It is a thriving fishing village. Kuala Sepetang famous with excellent seafood as well.

Â
This round we traveled from Taiping town to Xin Kuala Sepetang Seafood restaurant, ?????????. Kuala Sepetang is 20km from Taiping town, this cost us twenty five minutes to reach there.
Â

The wall painting near the entrance look really nice, so take a photo using it as background, turn out not bad right :)?
We had to walk through a small ROMANTIC walkway....
The restaurant is just beside the river bank, so you can see few fishing boats parked there.
The timing was excellent, because I managed to take sunset photos :)

This round SW will be the model, which I already show my face in the Zoo Taiping post :).

The restaurant already full of peoples, so no need to ask, the food here sure taste nice. Is actually introduced by a local friend, she went along with us.

Mari Mari(Come come), choose the fresh prawn and crab you like..because this is a fishing village, so all the seafood is guarantee fresh and cheap.

After ordered, our first dish server. Seem everyone were hungry.

Golden Fried Little Prawn, really yummy when it served hot..
Fried Fragant Crab. Its sweetness and freshness are also retained because cooking only starts upon customer's order.
Poached Mantis shrimp (?????), Taste the original flavor of food, this really fresh, it cost us RM 80 for the six big big Mantis Shrimp. Look at the size. P/S: This is not the frozen prawn we used to eat :), we really picked them up from the tank shown above.
Â

Spicy Tom Yam Prawn, see the prawn size, Not small right? Further more, this dish cause us felt HOT..HOT..HOT..sweating as well. Yummy..
Crispy fried fish
Kam Heong Lala (Clams)
The dishes costed us around RM 200 for twelve persons. Eating here you can enjoy the nice sunset view, if you love photography like me, you can sure capture nice shoot here. While for the cooking style is nice but not really fantastic, compare to others sea food restaurant I tried before. However, the main selling point is you can try out absolutely fresh seafood with a cheap rate. Really worth to try if you drop by Taiping,
