Taiping Lake Garden was our last stop for my visit to Taiping, it a place that you must go. Without visiting Taiping Lake Garden, you are considering never visit Taiping before. Recently, Tourism Malaysia announced they will upgrade and promote natural gardens in our country to foreigner, Taiping Lake Garden is one of them and this is a perfect place for cheap holidays.

Ok, back to the story, a friend stay there told me what’s the best time for me to visit, because he knew I am a photography fans, he told I must reach there by 6:30 AM or 6:30PM. We will see the most beautiful moment during sunrise or sunset. Since the first day was raining, we can’t make it for the sunset, so I decide to aim for sunrise.

During the next morning, 3 of us(me, my wife and a friend) woke up at 5:30am while others still sleeping at the guest house. We drove there which only took us 10 minutes, the sky still dark, guess was too early. So we headed to the Taiping food court, the same location mentioned earlier. For the famous, Taiping Chu Cheong Fan (Rice Noodle Rolls) of course.

A lot of people said that’s the best Taiping Chu Cheong Fan, at this stall only open from 6AM-11AM. We met the boss there, having few words with him and ask him to recommend us. A regular plate only cost RM 2 while large RM 2.40. The serving was very simple, only chili sauce or sweet red sauce or combination. The rice noodles rolls was impressively smooth, and glided down our throat with ease. A very simple but taste good. :)

After the breakfast, we headed back to Taiping Lake. Just nice, the sun started to rise. The scenery is awesome. The color from dark blue turn into pink purple, plus the Taiping Lake reflection, it make it even more lovely. How is the feel I can’t explain in words, let’s me show you few nice shoot that I managed to capture. I didn’t apply any touch up here, hope you can feel the original scene that I saw.

Sitting there to enjoy the great nice view that might only last around 15 minutes. According to my camera photo taken time, is 6:58am, I am sure this will be the useful reference for you.

There are two parts of the lake, which one part shown on above while the other part is near to the zoo. You have to pay for parking there.

That's all for my shoot regarding Taiping Lake Garden, it is a nice place especially you love  photography. Make sure you have sufficient time to try each angle, I wasn't got that due to the tight schedule. Definitely this is a good low cost holidays option.
