Sungai Klah hot spring resort or know as Sungkai hot spring is located in the FELDA area, Sungkai, Perak in Malaysia. If you are looking a unique hot spring park, Sungkai hot spring is the right place for you. It was opened since December 2003, the entire park was build on the natural hot springs that many believed it have healing power that can detoxify toxic from your body.

There are few interesting areas inside Sungkai hot spring park. The first one is the big hot spring pool that gets its source of heat from the underground. This is the first largest pool I visited that the water is hot.

After the hot and warm shower, is good to have a splash of cold water :)

Another area is the water reflexology that you can walk barefoot along the hot stream of water that is covered with small stones. The water here is a bit hot, if you are able to walk without feeling much pain, it means that you are healthy :). I didn't try it because too busy to shooting around.

In Sungkai hot spring park, you also can try the public pools, the water was just nice, you can dip your tired feet into these hot pools. The temperature is range from 30-35 degree Celsius.

Another famous activity there is Egg Boiling.



Do remember to bring eggs there, is fun to try this activity out. If you forget to bring, don't worry, you can buy there as well, of course it will be more expensive :). The egg-boiling area's water temperature can go up till 100 degree Celsius, so please read the instruction and thermometer to determine how long you need to boil your egg.

The park also have a big cafeteria that in front of it you can see a big pond. You could see a lot of lovely KOI fishes there, I managed to get a "WOW" shoot here, when one of the fish trapped inside a bowl.

Beside the hot spring, you also can have fun with the cold water park. Is very nice to cool up yourself under the hot sun. This is the favorite place for kids, which I could see it crowed with children.

Getting There

The FELDA Residence Hot Springs is strategically located within easy access from the old trunk road or north bound on the PLUS Expressway. One can also easily find the park from the Sungkai Toll only 16.5km or 20 minutes away from the Toll Exit.

On the North-South Expressway, get off at the Sungkai Toll Exit and turn left at the junction. Just 1km down the trunk road, turn left and follow the signs. The park is just after the Sungai Klah FELDA village.
