Not all of us know CAREY Island, which located just after Banting. It has been around much longer than our grandfathers. Lately, Carey Island has become popular by it seafood restaurant, Kang Guan Seafood restaurant. Kang Guan nestles at one end of the bridge that links the southern part of Port Klang to Carey Island.

Kang Guan Seafood restaurant famous with it's Good Food and Good Price. Last Sunday, me and my wife, we visited there for our lunch date. Once a while, try some nice crabs :). This was the fifth times I went there. Why? Simply because the food is good and the prices affordable. Kang Guan Restaurant serves halal food, you can found number of Muslims customers there.
We ordered a tomato sauce crab with fried bun, a green coconut and a plate of vegetables.
The restaurant is just beside the river bank, part of Kang Guan Restaurant sits on stilts that anchor its wooden floor to the riverbank. So while waiting for the food, take some time to capture couple of shoots.

Even foreigner also drop by here, I saw he ate lot..if you interview him, sure he said "finger licking good".

If you are a angler, you can bring your fishing road there. I saw the boys managed to catch some fishes there.

The fish too small..:P

Our meal, the tomato source crab served..couldn't wait longer anymore.

The taste of the crabs was really fresh...that's the reason I came here so many times.

One words I liked to said: "YUMMY!!!"

With the fried bun was very crispy as well.

Put some tomato sauce on the fried bun..fantastic..
For 1 kg(2 meat crabs) it cost RM 32, while the fried bun RM 4 and the vegetables RM 7. Including everything we only spend RM 53.
Below was the business hour. Ensure you go there early, cause during dinner time, the place would be crowed.

You can drive there, the way to Kang Guan is to head towards Banting on the NKVE (North Klang Valley Expressway), or with KESAS Highway, heading to Klang, exit at the 3rd toll, follow the sign board to Banting, after the Banting town, you will reach a small roundabout, keep on the right lane, 12oclock on the small roundabout, go straight till you see a junction then turn right, the bridge and the restaurant is just in front. It’s on the left, right beside the Carey Island bridge. There are two restaurants there, so make you pick the left one.
Address:

Parking space is ample if you don’t go during peak hours and during public holidays.
