During CNY, a friend of mine introduced the Lau Heong Seafood Restaurant (留香海鲜饭店) at Sentu Perdana for our gathering dinner. Sentul Lau Heong is a well known restaurant for those who lived at Setapak, Sentul and Wangsa Maju area. Lau Heong Restaurant is really a hidden treasure inside Sentul, maybe due to it's location, not really easy to locate due to the shop lot is hidden from the main road. The restaurant has 2 floor, which the upper floor got air conditional while downstairs only fans and around 10 tables at the road side.

It's signature dish, "siong tong la la" (clams in herb soup) We reached Sentul's Lau Heong at 6 pm, the place started to be crowed, all tables at second floor were fully booked so we can't reserve any, that's the reason we need to go over so early. According to my friend, there will be full house during 7-8 pm because it a popular dinning hot spot for those who lived nearby as well as those travel from far to taste their good foods.

It is a traditional Chinese restaurant and the shop is a bit old, so please don't put too high hope on the environment, aim for the foods only yah.

The first dish we order was the
Signatare Tofu, Deep Fried Bean Curd, the tofu were self made. It was a surprise in every bite as we found our teeth sink into a combination of fish paste, shrimp paste and tofu. Highly recommended!

The Tofu taste very smooth and crispy, do order it because this is one of the signature dish of Sentul Lau Heong.

Siong Tong Lala (Clams in Superior Soup) was our second dish, almost each of the table here ordered a plate.  The secret lies in the fresh clams with sweet, rich and Chinese herb flavours. The superior soup was really addictive, a bit bitter with shredded ginger and a generous dose of Chinese wine.

Enjoyed it by pouring the soup into my rice, yummy.

Nam Yu fried chicken wing, it really taste finger licking good..:)

Thai Style Prawns and Sotong in
banana leaf . The grilled fresh prawns and squids top with thai style curry sauce...thumbs up for this dish as well. You know what's I liked, this dish is sizzling during the time it served.

You can see the sizzling smoke, and the great smell were all over us.

Yummy..but I am sure this was really high cholesterol. :P

Asam Taliban Fish, not much special about this, so I advice you order the curry fish head pot which I saw it appear to most of the tables.

Finally a vegetables to add some fibre for us since we ate lot of meat and seafood.

Everyone seem enjoyed the foods, really a good place for dining.

While about the price, it not consider cheap, could said average, seven dishes for 8 of us cost us RM 191.80. The Thai Sotong and Prawn was the most expensive dish, which it cost RM 41.00, Chinese new year, guess it's price hike up so much.
