Pulau Ketam is well known for some special foods as well. The first thing that we tried was the chili rice (Chinese Style Nasi Lemak).

The store can be found just in front of a photo studio. This is the only photo studio you can found at Pulau Ketam. Since we arrived at 10:15 am, the aunt told me that's the only one plate Chili Rice for us. So if you wish to taste it, do make you catch the 8:30 a.m. boat else you will miss out the special breakfast sold here.

Next thing we tried was the Fried ice cream, didn't expected this food can be found here. The last place I tried a fried ice cream was at Kenyir Lake Resort.

We only bought one for trial.

Now back to the main course, definitely was Pulau Ketam's sea food. Pulau Ketam is famous for the fresh sea food. About the pricing, I can said is reasonable only, which not really cheap.

Sungai Wang Restaurant ? The mandarin name is exactly same as Sungai Wang (Plaza at Bukit Bintang). But we didn't try this shop, we took our lunch at Kia Hong Haun Restaurant.

In front of the restaurant, there is a stall selling the fried LaLa and fried Oyster. A plate will cost you RM 7 and we ordered each a plate.

Gong Bo (Chili Style) fried Soft Crab Prawn

A kg of sweet and sour crab. The Pulau Ketam crab really taste fresh.

The above four dishes plus a vegetable costed us RM 154.

Honestly, the taste of this restaurant not really outstanding, For seafood, I still prefer Kang Guan Seafood, Carey Island Klang .

After the main course, let's taste a Chicken Ice Cream, this store just beside the restaurant we ate.

One last thing, I still remembered my friend asked me to buy Prawn Keropok(Prawn Cracker) because it is very cheap at Pulau Ketam. Yes, indeed it was cheap, RM 10 (USD 3) for six packs. But come about the taste, I didn't taste any prawn inside the cracker. No wonder they sell so cheap. So beware of this, taste before you buy, I feel embarrass to give my colleague and it end up we eat it together with Maggie Thai Chili Source :) .

Dear Muslim friend, as a reminder, please bring your own food to Pulau Ketam, I think there don't see any halal restaurant and if got, it have to request special arrangement.
