Photography studio lighting is very expensive gear, so is this means we can't enjoy the fun because most of us is not able to afford those gear. The answer is no, let's share some tips which I found out from a friend, Wei Lin. He does a very good job to share it out on his facebook profile. So in order to benefit more photography lovers, I decided to come out with a short write up after seeking his permission to re-post his content.

To have a DIY mini Studio, it will not cost more than RM 50. Below are the items for you to build one.

  • 1 x polyester box (maybe you can ask your mum help to get one from wet market)
  • 2 x Philip energy saving light bulb
  • 2 x Polyester bowl
  • 1 x Tripod
  • White or black A4 paper/manila card as background

Once you get every thing ready, let's rock and roll. Setup the thing like below.

You can mount your tripod to either a DSLR or compact camera. Both will work. Remember to set your flash off. The 2 Philip light bulbs will give you a perfect lighting.
